Anyone who has taken part in the Ten Tors expedition will know the significance of the music currently being played in the background!

The whole camp awakes on the day of the event, to "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis.

If you think it sounds bad now, imagine what it's like to hear it start up at 5am. through a tannoy, after a late night, when you're led in a tent, stuck up at Okehampton camp, knowing that within a couple of hours you're going to be starting a two day trek across the moors and it's either going to rain - or be blisteringly hot..... & there's already a queue for the portaloo's...
