2001

Kandersteg, Switzerland

- With Laverstock & Chalke Valley Scouts

Over ten days we cycled through the mountains, rafted down the white water rivers, climbed cravsses in a glacier with ice axes & crampons and enjoyed some great walks past freezing lakes & snow tipped peaks. The welcoming Swiss village of Kandersteg is the home of the European International Scout Centre where we stayed, & is staffed by Scouts from all over the globe, making for a really international & cooperative experience. Is was also of course, great fun!!

Prkovna, Prague

The final Salisbury District Venture Scout trip ever to the Czech capital of Prague. During our two week stay we explored all corners of the magnificent city, including their great castle, museums, underground system, Jewish quarter with the most incredibly packed cemetery & enjoyed a pivo or two at the many cafes & restaurants. We stayed at a Scout campsite just outside the main town which despite the lack of facilities made for a good base away from the bustle of the city.

2003	SNEE '03 - North Wales Staying a long weekend with mr. David Parry-Jones saw two car fulls of Network members go walking & hiking in the mountains near Llangollen. Great views, great company and great walking made for a fantastic weekend.
2003	WINGS 2003 Windsor InterNational Guide & Scout camp in Windsor Great Park found our members running the assault course. During the week it was pounded by over 4000 Scouts & Guides from all over Europe & beyond. Not quite the bonding exercise it could have been but a wonderful experience ensuring we'll be back in 2008!
2004	Salisbury NC, USA Ben Kinsey & Alan Haskell joined Laverstock Scouts in their quest to reach Salisbury, North Carolina from Salisbury, Wiltshire - and succeeded! Rafting, panning for gold, exploration of New York & much more helped fill the fantastic itinerary of the once in a lifetime trip!
2005	SNEE '05 - Andorra Our first trip to the Pyrenean principality of Andorra for 10 days skiing. A Chevvy van full of Network members all made excellent progress on the slopes, and some even more progress in the bars afterwards!
2006	SNEE '06 - Andorra The return to Soldeu trip was filled by 10 Network members & leaders from the district again take to the pistes of Andorra, some for the first time. By the end of the two week adventure we had all experienced and added to the culture of Andorra, got some great skiing in and had the best holiday together the Sarum Network have enjoyed yet! Joining us on the next one??
2008	SNEE '08 - Andorra 2008 Great success! Over 20 Network members from all over the country enjoyed a great fortnight skiing in the Pyrenees, except one who stupidly bust a ligament in his ankle three days in.
