It was a great laugh! Emma & Matthew took up the challenge of the Explorer Belt, while John and Jennie were signed up with Cajun Al & that nice Mr Wyeth on the Leader Team.
The adventure was to Poland, to the same location as the 2005 trip, to the village of Swietajno. However on this occasion those that were eligible took part in Explorer Belt Expeditions.
Two weeks of fun &
adventure in Poland, cheap beer, lots of activities & expeditions &
a lake at the bottom of the garden - with a sailing boat & pontoons
to leap off! Activities included canoeing, walking and bicycle expeditions, exploring, visiting, meeting and just experiencing. Those doing the Explorer Belt were doing their own exploring, activities and projects. We even went down Hitler's bunker! All for about £300!!
Some people also counted Poland towards their Queen Scout Award and Duke of Edinburgh Awards so well done them!
