Welcome to the 1st Tidworth Scouts and 1st Helmsdeep Explorers website. We hope you will find all you need to know about scouting in the Tidworth area, including how you can join and how you can help as an adult.

1st Tidworth is part of Salisbury Plain District, which is in turn part of Wiltshire County Scouts. This gives us more events to join in with, and support for training and organising bigger and better things to do.

There are four sections at 1st Tidworth, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. All sections have adult leaders and helpers, and we run weekly meetings at our site in Tidworth.

Our Scout Hut is a few years old, sited in woodland on the edge of Tidworth. This gives us excellent facilities for camping and general outdoor “stuff”, which the kids love to do.
