Welcome to the 1st Boscombe Down website! On this site we aim to give anyone details of the Scouting activities available within the Boscombe Down area. Boscombe Down, situated on the edge of Salisbury Plain, has supported scouting since the 1940's. For a history of scouting at Boscombe Down please click here. The 1st Boscombe Down Group offer 3 sections, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts; supporting children
from the age of 6 through to 14. The intention As Scouting approaches its centenary year it is great to know that the spirit of the movement lives in all those who participate in the adventure that is "THE SCOUT MOVEMENT" Yours in Scouting.
